About Us
The purpose of the Shire IT Cluster is to support ITC businesses, based in Southern Sydney, in the provision of their services to all consumers of IT. Our aim is to promote IT businesses based in the Sutherland Shire and to help to address their needs. All local IT and related businesses and services are encouraged to attend our events and take advantage of topical presentations and networking opportunities. What Do We Do?
- we help to create an environment where IT and associated companies and activities can grow and flourish
- we promote the Shire IT Cluster as a place of excellence and ethical practice in IT and IT associated activities
- we promote education and learning within the sector and facilitate links to schools, TAFE colleges and university to encourage a flow of people, capable in IT, for local jobs
- we encourage the business community and public bodies to look to the Shire IT Cluster for their IT products and requirements
- we act as a link between business, government and community to develop information flows and promote IT capability generally
Who Are We?
We are local IT sector companies and government bodies who are working together to promote the IT services available here in the Sutherland Shire.

We are currently increasing our database of local skills and services in IT and associated industries on our website. This is to encourage the wider community to utilise IT businesses from southern Sydney.
The Shire IT Cluster group holds regular meetings to facilitate networking, present guest speakers and offer general support for industry members. We receive support from Sutherland Shire Council and NSW Department of State and Regional Development (DRSD).
Upcoming Events and Meetings
The Shire IT Cluster meets in the Board Room of the SSHED, 1 Pitt Street, LOFTUS NSW from 7:45 am – 9:30 am, on the fourth Friday of each month.
